Officially organized in April 1851 by the Rev. George H. Ball. Commonly known over the years as the Pearl St. Free Baptist Church, the Niagara Square Free Baptist Church and the Hudson St. Baptist Church, although the legal name remained the First Free Baptist Church of Buffalo, N.Y. The final service was held on October 14, 1923.
