The Growth and Progress Program (GAP) was a 5-week summer program for eighth and ninth graders from Albany's Arbor Hill and South End neighborhoods held on the College of Saint Rose campus from 1967 to 1989. The program aimed to provide cultural and educational enrichment to the students, and included academic programs and courses, as well as field trips, speakers, and production of a creative writing magazine and dramatic performances.
