Cooke, Dorothy St. John.
Dorothy St. John Cooke (d. 1987) received her Ph. D (1937) from the University of Chicago and an M.S. (1946) from Iowa State College (University). She was a statistician specializing in developing countries and worked for the Office of International Statistical Programs. During the 1960's, she served as a statistical advisor to Pakistan, Vietnam, Jordan and the Philippines.
