Giles Graham (1818-1897) was a cattle broker from the Old Fields township, North Carolina. In 1849, he married Mary Moore in Floyd County, Virginia. In 1850, a 65 year old Rebecca Moore, presumably Mary's mother, lived with them. They moved to Ashe County in around 1853. He was a member of Ashe County's Public School District Number 69 Committee in the mid-1850s and a member of Blackburn Methodist Episcopal Church for 30 years. The Grahams children include Patterson, Ishmael, Mariah, Lorenzo, and Reece.
