Institute for Juvenile Research (Ill.)
Variant namesEstablished in 1909 as the Juvenile Psychopathic Institute; renamed the IJR in 1917; it ran the first child guidance clinic and the second organized psychology training program in the nation. It also was one of the first sites for training child psychiatrists. Affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1990.
