James H. LeVan was born in 1905, graduated from Minersville, Pa. High School in 1922, and Lehigh University in 1926. He received a MS degree from Harvard in 1931. He had a distinguished career as a Sanitary Engineer with the United States Public Health Service from 1931 to 1969. He was an Alumni Class Correspondent for Lehigh from 1945 to 1992. He died December 27, 1992. He is survived by two sons, James, Lehigh '56, and Raymond.
