Bell, Norman R.
Variant namesSyracuse, N.Y., native Norman Robert Bell (1918 - 1994) received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University in 1939 and a master's degree in engineering from Cornell University in 1945. He served as a professor of electrical engineering at North Carolina State University from 1958 to 1982. He was also a well-regarded amateur astronomist.
