Hansford Land and Cattle Company
The Hansford Land and Cattle Company was a Scottish joint stock company founded in the early 1880s by James M. Coburn to invest in the Texas cattle industry. In 1882, the Hansford Land and Cattle Company purchased the Turkey Track Ranch in Hutchinson County, Texas. Company operations ceased in 1915 after all assets were sold.
