Penn State Alumni Association began in 1870 and has grown into the largest dues-paying alumni association in the country. It connects alumni to Penn State University and to each other, provides services to members, and supports the university's mission of teaching, research, and service. Although governed by the Alumni Council, it resides administratively within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations.
