Montgomery, Laura Marie
Variant namesBefore Laura L. Montgomery graduated from UMass/Boston in 1984, she served as associate photography editor for the Mass Media. Montgomery took the photographs for Vanishing Boston: An Exhibit Documenting Urban Change, Loss, and Past, between 1980 and 1982. The exhibit was organized in four sections: Hotel Demolition; The Dead and Dying Mercantile and Professional Businesses, Washington Street, Boston; An Industrial Portrait; and Victorian Remains, Boston's Elevated Railway, the Orange Line.
