Manuel Simeon Corley was a U.S. Congressman elected to represent South Carolina's 3rd District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1867 to 1869 during Reconstruction; businessman of Lexington County, S.C.; and an editor, South Carolina Temperance Standard; anti-secessionist; Confederate soldier; buried at Saint Stephens Lutheran Cemetery, Lexington, S.C.
