Rousseas, b. 1921 (Columbia B.S., 1948; A.M., 1949; Ph.D., 1954) has taught Economics at Columbia University, New York University, and Vassar College. A friend of Andreas and Margaret Papandreou, the Greek political figure and his wife, he was very active in American orgainzations supporting Papandreou after the 1967 coup d'etat in Greece.
