Melicow, Meyer M., Dr. 1894-1983.
Dr. Melicow was an award-winning leader in the identification of urological cancer and Given Professor Emeritus of Uropathology Research at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. He was a leading exponent of the American Physicians Art Association in New York.
The American Physicians Art Association was founded in 1936 as a national, non-profit organization.
Numerous exhibitions of the New York branch were held at the Academy.
