Bochniarz, Zbigniew M.

Zbigniew M. Bochniarz was born on July 2, 1945. He earned his master's degree in economics in 1968 and his Ph.D. in 1976 from the Main School of Planning and Statistics (MSPS), Warsaw, Poland. Beginning in 1986, Dr. Bochniarz held the position of visiting associate professor at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. He is currently a senior fellow and director of the Center for Nations in Transition, an organization within the Institute that oversees several research and training projects dealing with the economic and institutional changes in Central and Eastern Europe.
