Kansas. Board of World's Fair Managers.

During April 23-24, 1891, a delegate convention called by the Kansas State Board of Agriculture met to plan for the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893 in Chicago. A committee known as the Bureau of Promotion was selected to plan for a later convention and election of a permanent board of managers. A board of nine members was elected September 16, 1891, known as the Board of Managers, Kansas Exhibit, World's Columbian Exposition Corporation. [Blackmar, Frank W.
