Bernard Charles Lunn enlisted with the 16th Battalion (The Canadian Scottish) in September 1914. He served in World War One as a Company Sergeant Major. He served with the reserve units in England from 1916 until 1919. In April 1919 he was released from active service. In retirement, Lunn was involved with the 16th Battalion Veterans' Association. In 1968 he was selected to represent the association at the 50th Anniversary of the World War One Armistice Day.
