Robertson, Florence

Edward Griffin (1602- d. after 1698) lived in Flatbush, New York with his wife Mary. Their children included Edward Griffin, John Griffin, and Deborah Griffin. Notes include lists of Revolutionary War soldiers, marriage licenses, New York marriages, extracts from the Sons of Patriots of Connecticut, Society of Friends information, and New York Biographical. The compiler's interest in the Griffin family stems from her association with Joshua Griffin, whose daughter Susanna Griffin Miller married William Stevens. William's father Ephraim Steven lived in Providence near Scranton, PA. Members of the Stevens family married into the Dolph family, also mentioned in this document.
