Drs. J. Dickson Bruns and T. G. Richardson were physicians in New Orleans, La. Bruns served as a surgeon in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He settled in New Orleans after the war where he built a successful practice and participated in political affairs. He opposed reconstruction policy and was an organizer of the White League.
