Limʹon, Josʹe, 1908-1972.
Mexican modern dancer and choreographer working in the United States after 1930 and associated throughout his career with the choreography of Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman. In 1945 he founded his own company, which is the first modern dance company to have survived the death of its founder.
