Haywood, Andrew P., 1933-2006.
Andrew P. "Sam" Haywood had a career in education and school administration. Among his professional interests were alternative forms of education, including the "open school" approach. He was principal at a number of schools in Charlotte, N.C., during school desegragation. Haywood died in February 2006.
