Wool firm, Boston, Mass. Its history can be traced back to a business established in 1858 by Richard P. Hallowell and Andrew M. Howland. This firm dissolved about 1861 and was followed by Hallowell and Coburn. In 1892 it became Hallowell and Donald and in 1898 Hallowell, Donald and Company. In 1906 the name became Hallowell, Jones and Donald. The firm was incorporated in 1954.
