Business professor who taught at the University of North Dakota and the University of Oregon.

Jesse H. Bond was born Sept. 7, 1881 at Marion Junction, Alabama but was raised in California. He was educated at the University of Oregon (B.A. 1909, economics; M.A. 1913) and the University of Wisconsin (Ph. D. 1915). Bond was on the faculties of the University of North Dakota (1920-1928) and the University of Oregon (1928-1947). He was married to Elsie Davis on June 1, 1911 and had one child, Ruth. After his retirement in 1947, Bond and his wife gardened and travelled extensively. Jesse H. Bond died in Oregon, October 25, 1956.
