Frank Earl Mason (1893-1979), journalist, public relations counsel and publisher, was a vice-president of the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) from 1931 to 1945, and served as special assistant to Frank Knox, Secretary of the Navy during World War II. Mason was a member of Herbert Hoover's Famine Emergency Survey of 38 countries in 1946, and literary executor of Hoover's estate from 1964 to 1977. He also served as a trustee of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association from 1954 to 1977.
