The Brooklyn Dodgers was a National League team from New York from 1890-1957. Before 1890, the team was a member in the American Association. The team was not called the Dodgers until 1932. Previous names include Bridegrooms, Superbas, and Robins. The Dodgers moved to Los Angeles for the 1958 season; they remain there today.
