Col. William Williams (1787-1850), was printer and a bookseller with businesses in Utica, N.Y. and Tonawanda, N.Y. In 1833, he married Catherine Huntington, daughter of Hon. Henry Huntington (1766-1846) of Rome, N.Y., a state legislator and president of Bank of Utica.
