The Technology Transfer Office was created in 1989 at Brigham Young University and commercializes products developed at the university.

The Technology Transfer Office at Brigham Young University was created in 1989 and has since had two directors: Lynn Astle and Mike Alder. This office is in charge of helping the campus community commercialize technology or products developed through the university's associations, and works closely with the General Counsel.
