Born November 4, 1870 at Dunkirk, Ohio, son of Rev. John C. Miller and Irene Minerve Brown. Graduated from Ohio Wesleyan U., and aid to Gen. Keiffer in the Spanish-American War, editor of Ohio State Journal. Assistant Adj. General of Ohio National Guard. Published "National Guard Magazine". Secretary of the National Pickle Packers Association.In 1903 he married Bess Watson and had son Edward T. Miller Jr. of Plymouth. Died at Plymouth, Michigan. May 9, 1962, buried in Delaware, Ohio. Was a member of D.S.G.R. and published a family history, "Richard Brown - One line of descendants". (from D.S.G.R. Mag. v.26, p.100) (blue index cards)
