Compton, John Parker.
Born January 2, 1925 in New York, New York. Grew up in Scarsdale, New York. Attended Harvey School, LeRosey School (Switzerland) and graduated Phillips Exeter Academy in 1943. Attended Princeton University for two months until drafted into the Army. Volunteered for mountain service. Assigned to Company G, 86th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division. Killed in action March 3, 1945.
