Florissant Expedition (1906)
Expedition sponsored by the Museum and the University of Colorado to Florissant, Colo. to explore the Miocene fossil beds of the region.
Over 2,000 specimens were secured for the Museum and the University of Colorado collections. Subsequent expeditions (1907-1911?) to the same area were not sponsored by the Museum.
