Dufourny, Léon 1754-1818
Variant namesThe architect Léon Dufourny was born in Paris in 1754. Between 1782 and 1794 he worked in Italy, where he also collected antique marble. He was nominated member of the Institute de France in 1796, and professor at the Ecole des beaux-arts in 1803.
