Lucy Barrow McIntire, also known as Lucy Barrow Davenport McIntire, also known as Miss Lucy, (born July 11, 1886, Athens, Georgia- died November 4, 1967, Savannah, Georgia) was an American suffragist, activist, preservationist, actor, and poet. She was a cofounder of the Historic Savannah Foundation, the Poetry Society of Georgia, Chatham Nursing Home, the Juvenile Protection Association, Savannah Country Day School, Savannah Health Center, Savannah Nursery School, Savannah's Christmas Stocking, ad the Women's Relief Committee. She is buried in Savannah's historic Laurel Grove Cemetery.
