Alden, Dauril
Variant namesProfessor Dauril Alden wrote a biography of Dutch and Portuguese colonial historian Charles Ralph Boxer, 1904-2000, titled Charles R. Boxer: An Uncommon Life: Soldier, Historian, Teacher, Collector, Traveller . It was written by Alden with the assistance of Boxer colleagues and friends James Sylvester Cummins (1920-2004) and Father Michael Cooper (b. 1930). It was published in Lisbon by Fundação Oriente in 2001 (Lilly DA3 .B598 A43 2001).
