Tracy, Helon Henry, 1849-1893.

Tracy was the son of Moses and Nancy Tracy, who joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1883, and were among the converts who left Missouri for Nauvoo, Illinois and in 1850 traveled to Utah territory, settling in Weber County in the town of Marriott. Tracy served a mission to the eastern U.S. and Great Britain in 1881-1882. In 1886, Tracy was indicted and charged with polygamy and unlawful cohabitation. He was tried in 1886, convicted and sentenced to incarceration, serving nearly one year in the Territory of Utah penitentiary.

Helon Henry Tracy (1849-1893) was a carpenter in Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to England from 1881 to 1882.

Helon Henry Tracy was born on February 25, 1849 in Iowa. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to England from 1881 to 1882. He married Emma Maria Burdett on February 16, 1867. He then married Mary Jane Burdett on December 19, 1870. He later married Phoebe Truelove Annie Draper on December 28, 1882. He died on April 27, 1893 in Ogden, Utah.
