Frank Beaurepaire (1891-1956) was a swimmer and diver who competed in three Olympic Games (1908, 1920 and 1924), set 15 world records and won over 200 championships. He later founded the Beaurepaire Tyre Company and became Lord Mayor of Melbourne. He actively promoted the Melbourne bid to host the 1956 Olympic Games. His wife Lily, who was also a swimmer and a diver, competed in the 1920 Olympic Games.
