Walcott, W.
Walcott was a member of the Walcott family who had considerable business investments in the area. Walcott & Company was the firm that originally purchased the site for the Oneida Manufacturing Society. Simon N. Dexter was a merchant, banker, Erie Canal commissioner and cotton and wool manufacturer.
