National Summit on Black Church Development (1st : 1984 : Detroit, Mich.)
Conferences for Black Evangelical leaders; first Summit held June 5-9, 1984, in Farmington, Michigan; second Summit held June 10-14, in metropolitan Detroit; attended by approximately one hundred participants each; featured plenary speakers, Bible studies, and workshops; the goals of the two Summits were to stimulate interaction and cooperation between Black Evangelical leaders, formulate plans to address issues, and produce resources for Black churches and ministries.
