Babcock International Investments Ltd , London, England, was incorporated in 1920 to act as an operating company for the overseas interests of Babcock & Wilcox Ltd , boilermakers, Glasgow, Scotland. By 1975 , Babcock & Wilcox Ltd had subsidiary companies in Australia, Belgium, France, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and West Germany. However, because of an agreement with Babcock & Wilcox Co, USA, the company held no interests in the USA or Cuba. In 1992 the company became Babcock NNC Ltd and in 1993 changed its name again to Babcock Investments Ltd and was a direct subsidiary answerable to Babcock International Group plc . In 2002 , Babcock Investments Ltd was a non-trading company based owned by Babcock International Group plc.
