Hoyne, Thomas, 1817-1883
Variant namesA Chicago lawyer with Galena, Illinois connections, Hoyne was at various times U.S. district attorney, U.S. marshal, and mayor of Chicago. He was a member of various scientific and literary societies. He died in a railroad accident in New York.
