Incorporated in 1955 under the state laws of Montana, the company conducted a general logging and lumbering business in the Flathead County area. It logged for the Columbia Falls plant of the Plum Creek Lumber Company (q.v.), and later expanded its log production to serve other Plum Creek plants. NP acquired joint control in 1967. The company's stock was transferred to Glacier Park Company in 1971.
