Daniel J. Albertson was born in 1865 in Michigan. The family was originally from New York State and settled in Michigan in 1856. Daniel became a civil and industrial engineer as well as an architect and surveyor. He was also vice president of the Pure Ice Company of Kalamazoo, and was drain commissioner for Kalamazoo several terms between 1896-1906. He married Pearl L. Carver shortly before 1902. In 1930 Daniel travelled to Seattle, Washington where he rented living accommodations. His death date is unknown.
