Lindsley, Mary Augusta, fl. 1878-1936
Mary Augusta Lindsley was a native of Morristown, NJ. She served in Europe as a Red Cross worker during World War I. After the war she operated the dining rooms of the Government Hotels in Washington, DC and subsequently the Dodge Hotel. In 1936 she came to Williamsburg to manage the Williamsburg Taverns and Ordinaries.
