She was a caseworker for the Cuyahoga County Child Welfare Dept., Family Life Coordinator for the Welfare Federation of Cleveland's Central Area Community Council, and Child Welfare Consultant, and later, Northeast Area Superior, for the Ohio Dept. of Public Welfare.
