William Fay was a twentieth century short story writer. He wrote numerous stories for Collier’s, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Elks, Argosy, and The Saturday Evening Post. In 1935, he became the editor for Popular Publications, Inc. in New York. He moved to the West Coast in 1957 and began writing for television programs such as Alfred Hitchcock, Bonanza, The General Electric Theater, Wagon Train, and Dr. Kildare.
