Abbotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church (Davidson County, N.C.)
An offshoot of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Abbot's Creek was formed in 1756 and in 1758 was a constituent member of the Sandy Creek Association. By 1771 Abbot's Creek was no longer a member of the Association. In 1832 the church declared its opposition to the Baptist State Convention, and a minority of members left to form Abbott's Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
