Rogers, E. G. (Elzia Guy), 1896-
Variant namesE.G. (Elzia Guy) Rogers received a masters degree from George Peabody College for Teachers in 1936. He taught English, wrote for a local newspaper, and authored several books, including a biography of Nathan Bedford Forrest. He was active in many organizations, including the Tennessee Education Association and the Tennessee Folklore Society, and served as a Counselor for the Poetry Society of Tennessee.
