Young, Shirley Kaplowitz
Shirley (Shani) Kaplowitz (Kaplan) was a clerk at a Naval shipyard in New York who was released from her job for affiliation with the American Labor Party and other organizations perceived as Communist fronts by the American government in the 1950s.
