Steele, Daniel, 1772-1828
Variant namesBookbinder Daniel Steele established his bindery in a building shared with the printing office of Charles R. Webster in Albany, New York. Steele lost all of his stock in the great fire in 1793.
Steele's letter is addressed to a New York City bookseller named Robert Moore.
