Sharpless family.
Joshua Sharples (1747-1826) m. Edith Yarnall (1743-1787). Their children included Joshua Sharpless (1779-1860) and Edith Sharpless (1777-1861) who m. Thomas Kite (1785-1845). Thomas Kite was the son of Benjamin and Rebecca Kite. Thomas Kite m. first Elizabeth Barnard (d.1810), their children included Susanna Kite (1809-1844) who m. Aaron Sharpless (1809-1876). Mary Kite (1792-1861), Friends' minister, was the sister of Thomas Kite.
