Pollock, Howard W., 1920-2011
Variant namesHoward W. Pollock (1920- ), lawyer and Republican worked with the military from 1949 to 1952, was a legal advisor for the White Alice Project and a member of the Territorial House of Representatives (1953-1955), the State Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives (1967-1971). In 1971 he was appointed a deputy administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Washington D.C. Pollock is the only Alaskan to have served in the Territorial and State legislatures and the U.S. Congress.
