Tufts, John M. (John Marshall)

John Marshall Tufts (b. 1916), a mining engineer, worked in mining exploration in Guatemala from 1945-1962. He went to work for American Zinc, Lead, and Smelting Co. in 1955 as head of their Guatemalan exploration program and in 1962 returned to the United States as mine superintendent of their Vinegar Hill Division.
